The idea Behind Thirty, Flirty, and DUMB

 Where to begin?

The idea for this story came many years ago, when I myself, decided I didn’t want to give away what I felt were going to be the best years of my life.

Fast forward to January 2020. I was getting ready for bed one evening. My brain very rarely ever shuts up, and as I was lying there hoping to fall asleep my brain continued to think. I could write a book about a girl who DID give a guy her twenties and now she wants them back!

So, I sat up in bed and told my husband my idea for Thirty, Flirty, and DONE. (originally it was going to be DONE) my husband with his ever failing ears heard me say DUMB, but I actually said done.

I never told him, still haven’t, that he came up with the better title for this book. One because he’d never let me live it down and two because he hasn’t read this book. So, he gets no credit for a book he hasn’t read.

Anyway, back to the book. Originally, I wrote it down as this:

Adult Romance

Thirty, Flirty and Dumb – title

He took her twenties and now she is taking them back on her 30th birthday she decides to redo her 20s in a 10month span…

That isn’t how the book ended up playing out, but that’s where the idea came from.

You’ll have to read it to know where the idea actually took me and where it will take you!

Happy Reading.
